Wesley Reyes better known by his stage name EvillDewer is a music producer and Dj residing out of Boston, Massachusetts.EvillDewer has been producing sample and non sample based Instrumentals circa 2001 but was introduced to hip hop music at an early age in the early 90’s influences may include Cypress Hill,Busta Rhymes,Snoop Dogg,Dr.Dre,A Tribe called quest,and many more.Though known for his Hard hitting boom bap sound don’t exclude him to just Hip Hop. Displaying a wide range of musical ingenuity EvillDewer incorporates Experimental, Electronic, Soul, Funk,Psychedelic,R&B influences within his music,you really just never know what to expect from the evil scientist. EvillDewer’s first rise to success began early 2011 spinning at some of Boston’s premier Hip Hop and non Hip Hop venues such as The Middle East Club,The Wonder Bar,The Good Life Bar,Church Boston,Showcase live. EvillDewer also shared the stage with acts such as Raekwon,Sean Price,Blu,Torae,Devin the Dude,Styles P,Black Milk,Guilty Simpson,Smif n Wessun and many more.EvillDewer also made many guest DJ radio appearances on stations such as WMBR 88.1FM,WTBU 89.3, and Unregular Radio’s Internet radio.The beginning has only just begun for the Chelsea,Ma native, In 2011 alone EvillDewer has displayed tremendous work ethic and creativity in only the time span of one year by releasing a total of 7 arbitrary Instrumental Ep projects (Via Bandcamp).As of second quarter 2012 EvillDewer has already made great achievements gaining the attention of the writers at The Boston Globe for his Instrumental Release “Rap / Ish” to placing second in the Increasingly popular electronic music festival (Together Boston) producer competition held only once a year throughout Boston .Also causing quite the stir in the social media world, EvillDewer caught the attention of the good people of the Roy Ayers project for his Instrumental Single “Summer” and later re-released it on a Roy Ayers Project compilation.
